Notes |
- From Beth Akin “Uncle Arthur was married twice. Both proceeded him. He had no children. He was a very gentle man who lived by the Bible. Thoroughly color blind, the army only accepted him after they realized his "disability" was extremely helpful in spotting the enemy. He was a carpenter, built his own home, milled the cabinets from walnut taken from our land, and had a workshop to die for.”
Pat Gwin told me that she has Arthur’s photo album and he had a son, she thinks his name was George. The photos are of when the son was about 2 years old. [1]
